The recently established South Asia Foresight Network Node (SAFN) of The Millennium Project issued the first volume of a new SAFN Monographic series with the purpose of highlighting a challenge faced by a South Asian country in every volume and of developing recommendations to address the challenge while looking at the future vulnerabilities and threats to the environment and the society.
